Anushka Sharma made her acting debut in the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Anushka Sharma took her time to prepare and did not do the test impromptu. After that, she signed up to film three times in collaboration with Yash Raj Films. She was the wife of a young man of a man who was older in the movie (the same role that Shah Rukh Khan played). The film was met with mixed receptions. Anushka appeared as the role of a Punjabi girl who was from middle class in a movie called 'Band Baaja Baaraat.' She starred alongside Ranveer. The movie received a great reception and became a sleeper. Anushka has completed her 3-film contract with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
